James McDermott - Doctor of Chiropractic
After a three year university degree in Sports Rehabilitation at the University of Hull, I discovered my passion for chiropractic. I attended the prestigious Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth where I completed my four year Masters degree in 2013.
Previously I worked at one of the biggest chiropractic companies in Europe. During my time there I continued to grow my skills attending seminars across the UK, Europe and America, including Cal Jam, one of the best well known annual chiropractic conferences, with over 2,500 people.
I have a great passion for sports, and as a keen footballer myself, nothing inspires me more than being able to help a sports person recover from an injury or to improve general sporting performance so they are at the top of their game.
In my spare time, you will find me spending time with my wife, son and daughter, playing football or travelling up and down the M1 to see my family in Scarborough, my home town.
Sophie McDermott - Doctor of Chiropractic & Clinic Manager
I am so excited to help the local community achieve better health after graduating from Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2011. I practice what I preach and lead a chiropractic lifestyle by getting adjusted regularly, staying positive, eating well and exercising often, so I hope to empower people to make better health decisions
I love taking care of families. The youngest baby I have checked was just two days old and the eldest person I have looked after was 100 years old - Chiropractic really is for everyone!
I am currently helping with the day to day running of the clinic, and not adjusting, as I am being kept busy looking after our 2 year old son and 9 month old daughter.
Lily McKenzie - Chiropractic Assistant
I joined the Summit team in 2018 and have learned so much about the way our lifestyles impact our bodies, and just how amazing the body is at healing itself, given the right help, which Chiropractic care does. I have always enjoyed and wanted to help others and being a Chiropractic Assistant allows me to do this, it's brilliant being able to see people progressing and improving all the time. It's great working in such a lovely team, who always strive to achieve their best. I love that there’s always something new to learn, and that Chiropractic encourages the ideas of growth and self-improvement.
Nicole Hussey - Chiropractic Assistant
Recently I graduated in Dance: Urban practise in East London and moved to Watford for a big change.
The role of being a Chiropractic Assistant excites me! I have been a receptionist before but never in an environment like this, the team and clients are all lovely and welcoming. It is great getting to learn something new, being here is definitely motivating me to better myself.
