Sometimes it is easy to get wrapped up in all of the negatives, especially during this worrying time. It is OK to have bad days and to experience feelings such as worry, despair and fear. Today choose to have a good day. Remember that we are in control of our own destiny, even at times when it may not feel like it. One way to do this is to focus on all of the small wins. Celebrate every victory.
One of the most reasons for failure, or feeling a sense of failure even when you have not, is that we set ourselves huge, unrealistic targets. Big thinking is good. Big targets is fine, but to make this achievable it has to be realistic and broken down into manageable chunks. Once this is done, you need to celebrate these small achievements. These may seem insignificant but these small steps are what will allow you to reach your ultimate goal and dream.
What I'd like you to do is stop and think about your week, or even the last couple of days. Think of every single thing you did, no matter how small. Pat yourself on the back. Do not be modest. What went well? What went even better than expected? Celebrate!
