A lot of us do.
Being present in how your body is feeling at a given time can help with not only your physical health but your mental health too.
Take a moment to find a quiet space to sit. Start to scan your body, from the tips of your toes all the way up your legs, into your abdomen, all the way up your chest and shoulders, down into your arms and fingertips, then back up your arms to your neck and into your head.
Repeat this again but this time with your eyes closed. If there is an area of tension or concern take some time to focus on that whilst taking 3-5 deep breaths. This can help with relieving stress.
Deep breathing has been shown to help reduce anxiety. Breathe using your belly rather than your chest.
Taking this time to centre once a week for 5-10 minutes may not seem like much at first, but rest assure it will make a huge impact on your health.
