Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is evidence-based science, philosophy and art. Chiropractors help restore joint function by realigning the spine, affecting the way the nervous system works. Chiropractic removes stresses and interference, improving the brain-body connection.

The body’s own healing ability is activated (e.g., the ability to heal cuts and broken bones on its own). The process takes time and differs from person to person. Chiropractors use adjustments, a hands-on method, to naturally facilitate the healing process. This allows people to get well without medication or surgery.

The Chiropractic Journey

Chiropractic is natural healthcare for the whole body and your whole family. Pain relief is the main reason people seek care, but chiropractic can address so many other areas of your life.

At Summit Chiropractic, we take a holistic approach to your problem. We look at everything, not just where the pain is located. There’s a reason other therapies didn’t work; we’ll explain how chiropractic is different.

Our practice follows the three phases of care: Healing, which is more intensive, looking to make an impact on the problem, 2-3 times per week; Maintenance, changes have occurred, client has better mobility, flexibility and function, 2-4 times per month; and Wellness, client comes 1-2 times a month to keep everything working as it should.

Our Techniques

Chiropractic adjustments are the primary techniques which provide relief from pain and discomfort. There are many different methods available, depending on the client’s condition and the chiropractor’s preference. Our practice uses the Diversified Method, which is the most widely used form of adjustment. We also use the Activator Method, a low force adjustment, as indicated.
